A massive cluster update operation will take place on Tuesday 6 October and Wednesday 7 October. The OS and drivers of the whole cluster will be updated. Azzurra will be inaccessible during this period. We apologize for the inconvenience.
On August 3 and 4, the university’s wired network will be disrupted due to operational maintenance on the core network.
It is therefore possible that the connection to Azzurra is cut at times on these days. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
Several computer training courses will take place at the start of the school year (Valrose campus):
We inform you that an unexpected maintenance will take place on Azzurra this Thursday, June 3rd between 9 am and 5 pm.
Azzurra will remain online during the maintenance. However, we caution users that some related services (including login, access to /home directories, license servers) might be unreachable at some point during that day.
OpenMP and GPU (OpenACC and OpenMP) training sessions will be organized by the MSI. These courses, opened to all UCA students and staff, will take place next september (Valrose). Each training will take place over two days.
These are advanced courses for people experienced in development.
Azzurra has recently increased its computing power with 16 new nodes equipped with 2 AMD Epyc 7302 @ 3 GHz – 16 cores processors, i.e. 32 cores per node and 256 GB of memory.
New Slurm queues are available for everyone to use the new AMD nodes: amd and amdcourt. Click here to read their configuration.
