The name of your Slurm account has been sent to you by e-mail with your login details. The Slurm account corresponds to your project group and not to your user account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Requested_time_limit_is_invalid_(missing_or_exceeds_some_limit)\"><\/span>Requested time limit is invalid (missing or exceeds some limit)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The walltime (maximum execution time) of your job exceeds the walltime of the choosen partition.&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/calculs.univ-cotedazur.fr\/?page_id=530&amp;lang=en\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"530\" target=\"_blank\">You can see the maximum walltime associated to each partition by clicking here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"slurmstepd_error_***_JOB_%E2%80%A6_ON_%E2%80%A6_CANCELLED_AT_%E2%80%A6_DUE_TO_TIME_LIMIT_***\"><\/span>slurmstepd: error: *** JOB &#8230; ON &#8230; CANCELLED AT &#8230; DUE TO TIME LIMIT ***<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The walltime of your job was reached while the job was not finished yet. Slurm automatically cancels jobs when the walltime is reached. The project\u2019s leader receives several reminders each year asking to&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/calculs.univ-cotedazur.fr\/?page_id=1101&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">fill this form<\/a>. Access to the compute nodes is automatically suspended if the form isn\u2019t filled each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>you do not enter the correct Slurm account name. The name of your Slurm account has been sent to you by e-mail with your login details. The Slurm account corresponds to your project group and not to your user account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"launch_failed_requeued_held\"><\/span>launch failed requeued held<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Slurm may have encountered a technical problem with a computing machine, and your job could not be launched. It has been queued. In this case, it is recommended that you restart the job with the following command: <strong>scontrol release<\/strong> followed by your job ID (the first column of each line when you type <strong>squeue<\/strong>).
